Aftershock – Motörhead, 2013
One of the band’s longer releases, clocking in at 14 tracks, Aftershock is a triumphant act of defiance – by Lemmy, in particular, as it marked the beginning of his body’s decline. But the record doesn’t display that for a moment. This album is a throwback to Motörhead’s early days – it’s a mixture of straight-up rock ‘n’ roll with some blues thrown in, literally, with Lost Woman Blues.
